Through the previous post's comments, we can see that most of the people are aware that different races are not allowed to share utensils.

This are more information about Racial diversity and why you cannot share utensils with different races.

  • Food

Have you ever notice that plenty of shops do not sell pork? It is because Islamite is not allowed to eat pork, or even any food then is cooked by the utensils that have been used to cook pork. Having, numerous Islamites in Singapore, people who do not want to lose the considerable amount of customers gives up selling pork.

  • Why Islam cannot eat pork?

-The abstention from eating pork is one of the steps taken by Islam to practise hygiene and to attain purity of soul. Islam, for the cultivation of inner faculties, insists upon the cleanliness of body and the purification of soul through Salaat (prayers).

-The pig is naturally lazy and indulgent in sex, it is dirty, greedy and gluttonous. It dislikes sunlight and lacks the spirit and will to "fight." It eats almost anything, be it human excreta or anything foul and unwholesome. Amongst all animal flesh, pork is the favoured cradle of harmful germs. Pork also serves as a carrier of diseases to mankind. It is for this reason that its flesh is not suitable for consumption.

Therefore, we can say that people should be aware of this small details as this can cause misunderstanding towards the other races.

Survey.

Hello!

We are from Group 8, 2E.

Our Problem:

Are people aware that different races are not allowed to share utensils?
Example: Malay and Chinese

Here are some evidence that was caught on pictures.

My friend, named Abigail.

She felt hungry during recess, and bought 1 plate of food from the chinese stall, and the other from the malay stall. She didn't know that different races are not allowed to share utensils. Therefore, she did this.

She used the chinese stall food's utensils and attempt to eat the malay stall food.
